What is a talent agency? It’s a specialised employment agency that finds paid work for performers in roles across TV, film, theatre, musical theatre and commercials.

While our sister school, the Jackie Palmer Stage School, focuses on training children in the performing arts, the agency represents young performers who already have something that little bit special in terms of talent, ability, and a passion for performing.
JPA Management represents older talent who have completed training and/or have more experience of working in the industry.

We do not charge a joining fee; however, as a commission-based agency, our talent is expected to demonstrate a strong level of performance ability and commitment, giving them the best possible chance of being considered for paid roles by casting directors.

It is important to understand that, in an increasingly competitive industry, no agency can guarantee paid work for the actors they represent.

What we can promise, however, is that JPA will work proactively and diligently to secure the best possible opportunities for our talent and support them every step of the way.

Every day our agents search for acting opportunities (or ‘casting briefs’) and carefully match these to the performers on our books. While the majority of these briefs will ask for good acting ability, skills in singing and dance are a valuable addition for certain roles such as musical theatre.

JPA also helps with auditions, organising child performance licences (for those under 16 and still at school); negotiating contracts, pay and benefits; and helping with acting profiles amongst other services. We also have our own studios and casting facilities.
